Law Enforcement - Cambridge/Deerfield Police Department
The Village of Deerfield contracts its police department through the Dane County Sheriff’s Department for protection of the village’s residents and businesses. The department, which is located in the center of the community, is able to patrol all sections of the village and maintains a very high visible and crime deterrent for the community. In 1985 through the cooperative efforts of the Village and Town of Deerfield, a new state-of-the-art facility was constructed in the Deerfield Business Park in order to provide area residents and businesses the best fire protection facility possible. The department has fulfilled the requirements of service and has the gratitude of the community for their impressive service to Deerfield.
Emergency Medical Services - Deer-Grove EMS -
The village and town of Deerfield, in cooperation with the village and town of Cottage Grove, have joined forces to provide complete emergency medical services to the area. The Deer-Grove EMS has expanded and grown to meet the needs and the communities its serves. In addition, Deerfield is home to the Dean Medical Clinic facility. Constructed in 1990’s, the Dean Medical Clinic is an important part of the health care in Deerfield.
