Deerfield/Cambridge Police Department

The Village of Deerfield contracts through the Dane County Sheriff’s Department for protection of residents and businesses.  The department, which is located in downtown Deerfield, is able to patrol the entire village while maintaining high visibility.  Deputies are committed to community policing and having a positive impact with residents and businesses.

Vacation Home Checks

Are you going on vacation for a few days and would like the Deerfield Sheriff's Deputies to check on your house while you're gone?  Simply print out the form below, fill it out, drop it off at the office and your house will be checked while you're away.  Please drop off the form at least 1 week prior to when you will out of town to ensure your property is patrolled. 

DEER-GROVE EMS

The village of Deerfield, in cooperation with the village and town of Cottage Grove, have joined forces to provide complete emergency medical services to the area.  The Deer-Grove EMS has expanded and grown to meet the needs and the communities its serves.  In addition, Deerfield is home to the Dean Medical Clinic facility.  Constructed in 1990’s, the Dean Medical Clinic is an important part of the health care in Deerfield.

In 1985 through the cooperative efforts of the Village and Town of Deerfield, a new state-of-the-art facility was constructed in the Deerfield Business Park in order to provide area residents and businesses the best fire protection facility possible.  The department has fulfilled the requirements of service and has the gratitude of the community for their impressive service to Deerfield.
